Variety Show

On Friday, May 19th Lindbergh 3rd, 4th and 5th graders astounded a full audience of family, staff and community members with their amazing talents. Thank you to our INCREDIBLE Variety Show Chairs: Anna and Kevin Dewey for organizing this spectacular show and encouraging our Lindbergh students to be confident in their unique talents.

Our Variety Show Chairs had a special message to share:

“The 2023 Lindbergh Variety Show was a smashing success! We had 23 students from 3rd, 4th and 5th grade perform instrumental and vocal solos, tell jokes, solve Rubik's cubes, jump on a pogo stick, and choreograph a cheerleader routine. Ms. Greenia not only led the Lindbergh Choir, but also played a beautiful selection on her harp. We had 2 amazing stage crew students in charge of all the moving pieces to help the show run smoothly, and 3 fabulous announcers who entertained us the whole night. The whole cast learned an entire choreographed song and dance, and shined like stars as they gave their best and bravest performance in front of a supportive audience.

These students showed such dedication and commitment during all the rehearsals and worked together so well to put on a show they could really be proud of. It takes courage to stand up onstage and perform, and they all gained so much confidence from this positive experience.

Putting on a show takes a whole village of support. We couldn't have done it without all the parents who donated their time (and snacks!) throughout the past few months: Nora Farhat, Craig Hutchison, Jasmine Leciejewski, Sandra Miller, Julie Trzeciak.

We also enjoyed a fantastic dessert "afterglow" (reception) for the whole audience after the show. We are grateful for donations from: Zeinab Ball, Hanan Beydoun, Jessica Corbin, Lana Donnelly, Nora Farhat, Craig Hutchison, Jasmine Leciejewski, Michelle Linkowski, Sandra Miller, Pachia Rahal, Fatme Saad, Julie Trzeciak.

A very special shout out to Jessica Corbin and Jasmine Leciejewski who provided each participant with a custom designed t-shirt for the show, and who helped with set decorations. Also to Sandra Miller and Julie Trzeciak for their extra hands and continued support throughout.

We are grateful for Ms. Greenia and all her involvement with the show to make it such a success. Thank you to Ms. Tiba and all the staff and teachers for your support. And to all the parents who are raising great kids that are supportive of one another and cheer each other on in such a positive way. It's been such a rewarding experience for all of us.”
